From January 13th to 14th, a training course on "International New Advances in Navigation and Peri-implant Diseases", focusing on cutting-edge technologies of stomatology, was successfully held in Ningbo Shangshan Stomatology. The training was carefully planned by Dcarer and Shangshan Dentistry, and it was a special honor to invite Rui Figueiredo, professor of the School of Stomatology of the University of Barcelona and vice president of the Spanish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dr. He Gang, the co-founder of Shangshan Dentistry, to share and exchange oral diagnosis and treatment experience with colleagues in the field of oral medicine across the country.

The training event attracted more than 70 dental professionals from all over the country, Professor Rui Figueiredo shared the current situation of dynamic navigation in international research and the development and principle of navigation technology, and explained the application advantages, latest research results and future development trends of navigation technology in oral implants with his profound academic attainments and rich clinical experience. He not only shared a number of cutting-edge technology cases, but also elaborated on how to use navigation for precise positioning, improve surgical efficiency and safety.

Dr. He Gang of Shangshan Dental combines the latest research results at home and abroad to focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of peri-implant diseases. Through actual cases, the use of implant navigation in the esthetic area, maxillary sinus, and prosthetic-oriented different indications was shared. It vividly demonstrates how to use navigation to treat complex and difficult cases, effectively manage peri-implantitis, extend the service life of implants, and provide patients with better oral health services.

Extreme Implant Cases under Navigation

After the sharing, Dr. He Gang conducted a live demonstration of extreme implant surgery under navigation: 88-year-old elderly man has four types of extreme bone implantation in Zone 1, the patient's bone mass is very limited, and osteoporosis, it is difficult to use torsion, with the assistance of navigation, make full use of the patient's bone mass, complete multi-site implantation, and complete immediate implantation and immediate repair on the same day.

During the training, dental colleagues actively interacted with each other and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the problems and challenges they encountered in clinical practice. Professor Rui Figueiredo and Dr. He Gang patiently answered the questions, and the atmosphere was warm and academic.

At the end of the training, Professor Rui Figueiredo and Dr. He Gang presented the certification certificates to the participants, which built a valuable communication platform for dental colleagues and promoted the dissemination and application of international dental medical technology.
